East Texas Performing Arts provides arts education and performance opportunities to the underserved and disenfranchised in East Texas. We develop community appreciation for, and participation in drama and musical arts by producing amateur and professional presentations such as plays, musicals, concerts, acting and life skills classes and festivals and to provide performing arts education opportunities to the general public. Special emphasis on breaking down cultural and racial barriers, providing children and youth, particularly those with physical, developmental, economic, cognitive, and emotional burdens and limitations, and extended outreach to youth and adults that are part of underserved populations within East Texas. We include opportunities for those with physical, mental, developmental, and emotional burdens and limitations. All productions are at no cost to participants.

We support local and regional businesses by attracting participants and tourists from around the world to stay and shop in Marshall, Texas.
